Getting started with your loft and Basement conversion

Loft, Garage and Basement conversions can be granted in three main ways.

1) Full planning permission

We can produce low cost plans to suit every need and provide a full service with our in house architects.
Planning permission can take up to 12 weeks from submission.

2) Building notice

This is a matter of filling in the form shown , as a notice to carry out building works.
A fee is required by the local authority.
Building inspection will then be carried out.

3) Permitted development

This allows you to carry out building work to a permitted volume, without the need of permission from the local authority.
Be careful this is not as straight forward as it may seem.
We always use an architect for this to get it right!
